Every piece is thrown, trimmed, and glazed in our 900-square-foot Portland studio. We mix our own glazes from raw materials — silica, feldspar, colorants from domestic suppliers. Cone 10 reduction firing means real heat for hours. The variation in your finished piece is the kiln's work, not a flaw.

A chipped plate shouldn't strand a whole set. Previous collection pieces stay available open stock for as long as supply holds. Ashwood and Dunebloom are live now.
The glaze
Saltgrass is a cool grey-green.
It breaks warm at the rim.
The variation you see — slight pooling at the foot, a lighter edge where the glaze thins — is the reduction atmosphere doing what it does. We formulate the glaze; the kiln decides the detail. No two pieces land identically.
Saltgrass is the fourth firing in the studio's seasonal drop calendar. It retires when the drop sells out.
